I went to the IPMS show/swap meet in Sacramento on Saturday and picked up this incomplete turtle kit. Just perfect for my Super Fuzz base I had laying around. Worked on this all day Sunday and all day yesterday. Just need to sink in the blower and it is ready to paint. Maybe I will get some paint on snomad at the same time.

Great use of a kit lacking parts (guessing legs/feet), your imagination is showing. My suggestion would be to carve up a walnut shell for a helmet. I also have this turtle and it was missing a piece on the side but I was able to make a part from one of the other incomplete critters and now it awaits painting. Some trivia, this turtle originally was one of 6 creatures(not all same scale)in same box created by Renwall, same folks that gave us the visable man, woman, horse, dog, ear, etc. The crumbling box of goodies I got was done up by Skilcraft, I was only able to rescue the turtle and alligator. The detail is quite good for these reptiles. Looking forward to more photos. Cheers Eh!
