Great progress.
I have never considered cuttng up diecast cars, let alone mating them with styrene body parts. You're doing an awesome job! Thanks ! I'm sure there's a styrene 'Cuda out there (maybe AMT ?) but I couldn't find one so the diecast seemed like the best option .

Why is it every time I think I'll make progress something comes up ? On Memorial Day I was working on the Snap-Tite Snake and figured I could spend all week on it and maybe even finish it ! On that Tuesday some work came my way and I've been busy ever since ! Who said retirement was easy ? I was finishing the body work to get ready for paint . And I added the front and rear valence panels from the diecast to the Snap-Tite chassis plate . Next would have been fabricating the front spoiler to attach to the valence pan and adding extensions to the rear spoiler . . . never happened . Maybe next week .

Another week has gone by . . . and I made some progress ! The body work is about finished , just a little work left on the hood and I can start painting . I did a little digging and came up with this Duster body . . . looks like a "Mongoose" may be in the future !

Spent a couple of hours doing artwork for the main decals , then I printed them on paper to check the size and placement on the body . Still need to do all the smaller decals , then put it all together !
