Entex Deal's Wheels Look-A-Like Kits

I'm sure I posted these before but with one being auctioned on Ebay as a supposed DW I thought it was a good time to show them again . I've had these four for a while and if you watch for them they show up for sale quite often .


They're nice little kits but as you'll see in the photos they are smaller than the Deal's Wheels we all love .
First up is the Porsche .





Here's a Bug Bomb next to the Porsche .


The tires are where the size difference really shows !
The rears . . .


. . . and the fronts .


If and when I build these I would definitely swap out the kit tires .

And here's the other three kits I have .














There is also a "Dune Buggy" , a "Datsun Pickup" , and a "Datsun 240 Z" .

If you file off all that junk on the Entex's van roof it looks really decent. The Revell Deal's Wheels engine is so small it fits right in the Entex.

Cool info on these "imposters" 
Something I learned while trying to find out 
just who made these things, is that Entex was 
two guys in California, reboxing kits, etc. I always
thought Entex was a Japanese model kit company.

These entex kits are soo close to Deals Wheels...this led me wondering if Dave Deals has known about this ? or the other way...

These tires can be modified to suit. Can be done through 3d printing and then cast them... an idea
