Started on the mate to the Ratfink slot car.. this is a BRM Revell slot which is the same that was used on the Ed Roth/ Revell version .. I prepped , primered and chose a House of Kolors Ultra Orange Pearl paint followed by Kosmic Klear Urethane.. I like this stuff because is goes on thin and lays down nicely without a lot of thick buildup .. |

Here’s the little resin figure I bought off eBay .. I cleaned up what little flash it had and sprayed a black primer base for dry brushing .. |

Most everything is done .. I am prepping the headers getting ready to cover them with Molotow .. working in getting decals done in the correct font for both the Ratfink and Mr. Gasser .. then I’ll call them done ! |

Looks like you've got an awesome pair there, buddy!
My older brother was a huge slots fan. He and his buddies even had a little club going, building homemade track and such.
We used to go to the slot car track in downtown Wilkes Barre, PA., where I was only allowed to rent the cars.
Pretty sure I would have demolished these beauties! |
