You got the "rear fenders" part right. They are the custom optional rear fenders from the old 1953 Ford pick up kit. The panel is from the Predicta.

See, now this is what I call a "Fletch" build. The cool thing about model builders is, we see things not as they are, but what they could be. This model exemplifies that. Thanks for the idea, I think it could make a good bumper car also, (if you haven't already done that)
