I recently finished my Speed shift resin kit but didn't make any red veins in his eyes .. I later heard where super fine pieces of red thread from wool would suffice for this task .. well while cruising Hobby Lobby and made a pass through the material isle and picked up a "sample" . . . .. but haven't pulled old Speed shift back out to re-do the eyeballs .. Here's a shot of Speed shift as he is right now .. should I or shouldn't I venture into his bloody eyeballs ??

Looks great as is but blood shot eyes would make it pop more. Have a go. You can always paint them white again.

Thanks for the artwork and vision Bobby! .. the pieces of thread I have are ultra small and would have to be separated under a magnifying glass then installed with future floor polish .. hmm... I'm going to ponder this a while .. thanks again my friend for the picture !

Thats a tough call , it looks great either way . I used a pin dipped in red paint to make the bloodshot eyes on my Weirdo's .I just wouldn't have the patience- or the eyesight to do that wool treatment !

I think a few veins would look good, I wouldn't go overboard with themas the white eyes look good. Find an old dog dish hubcap, paint it white and practice on that.

I usually use a red ball point pen that's water based or marker and draw in the lines.. you can blend in or blurr some of the lines around the eyelids or edges with water and a small brush...once its dry then clear coat with future or gloss nail polish (which is kinda smelly)...for a glossy eye!!! Just one way that works for me!! hope that helps!! ;D The pin dipped in paint Don mentioned works great as well!!! ;D here's an example for a really blurry bloodshot eye!! and another not so blurry!!

Drink 8 cups of coffee, break out a "0000" fine brush, dip in red, hold to part until desired affect achieved. (taking a BIG DEEP breath) .. a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.. I'll put a 0000 brush on my grocery list ...
