[glow=red,2,300]CHASSIS FOR THE BUG!!![/glow] I removed about a half an inch from the chassis and glued it back together... I cut the rear of the chassis and added about a quarter inch strip of plastic to raise it to the right height. The fit is perfect for the back of the Mud Bug, the front will need a little trimming. I think I will add strips to the sides to increase the gluing surface to the body. I added strips of plastic to brace the new chassis...

[glow=red,2,300]WORKIN' ON THE ENGINE!!![/glow] Here is the 911 Engine with a little paint and spark plug lines... I cut out part of the exhaust system and replaced it with one large pipe. This will give me a good posiion for mounting the BiG "TUBA" Pipe! Here it is with the New Supercharger attached! I used some of "The Detailer" Black Wash to bring out the details...

[glow=red,2,300]INTERIOR PANEL...[/glow] I added strips of plastic to the sides of the chassis to increase the glueing area to the body. I also cut away a little of the chassis to clear the front tires. The Interior Panel is too big for the New Hood so..I'll need to cut it down a little... I cut a wedge section from the Interior Panel... Then I glued it back together and into the body! See how the bottom edge of the Interior Panel rest on the top-front of the chasssis. The body will attach to the chassis here!

[glow=red,2,300]SKID PLATE!!![/glow] The Rear Skid Plate turned out to be a Great way to mount the Engine and the BiG Rear Tires. I started by making a "T" shaped piece of plastic to fill the depressed area in the rear. Then I glued it in place. I added 2 strips of half-round strip plastic on the Skid Plate and glued in in it's new location! I made a small piece of plastic to fit on the front of the Skid Plate to make it smoother... Here it is in place. Both the Engine and Big Rear Tires will mount right here!

[glow=red,2,300]FULL INTERIOR!!![/glow] With a little bit of fitting, I got the front bulkhead mounted in the body, instead of the floorboard. Looks like I have enough room to put in a full interior and a Deals Wheels Driver with a Complete Body, not just the head and a hand! Notice the interior has been filled with putty and sanded smooth.

[glow=red,2,300]NEW FIREWALL!!![/glow] The stock VW Firewall doesn't fit anymore so I made a new Firewall from sheet plastic. I also covered the transmission hole in the body, with a strip of plastic, to form the new 911 Transmission Mount. Here is the 911 Engine in place! I added a piece of Triangular Shaped Strip Plastic to the bottom edge of the Rear Spoiler to finish it off...

[glow=red,2,300]PORSCHE 911 INTERIOR!!![/glow] I found most of the Interior Parts in the 911 kit. The Seats, Console, Shifter and hand brake are from the 911. The driver figure is from the parts box and the head is from a Deals Wheels Kit... I decided to use one Seat and it was a little too high. I ground off the base and it sets at the right height now. Nice Seats! Too bad, I might have to cut off the head rest the clear the drivers BiG Head!
