A little Sunday-Funday-Throwback-Thursday. The fourth of my set of Lindy Loonys, the Road Hog.
Built from a red plastic test set I'd picked up on eBay some time back before the Weird-Dohs release. Un-boxed or bagged, with no instructions. Those taillights are just 2-part epoxy dots on top of red paint spots.
When I painted him up, I wanted a bit of a dirty hog look. Then, a happy accident, I guess. The clear coat over the layers of acrylic created a texture I could not have planned. His skin ended up a sort of antique china doll texture.
The big smelly stogie was a must. And the steering wheel is a parts box replacement for the one missing.
As always, thanks for lookin!

Great Road Hog Fletch ! We don't see enough of these Loony kits built ! I like that leathery look of his skin . I had the same thing happen but only one time and I can't remember what craft paint I used and what clear caused it to crinkle .

Looks great!!! Superb paint work!!!
I hope the heat that "melted" his tires doesn't turn him into bacon! Ha-Ha!!!

Thanks, guys!
I've got a bagged release version of him somewhere. Thinkin' of seeing how he might look in a toony 30s Ford or something, rather than the non-descript roadster he's in now.
