This is another one of my scratch built/kit bash creations I call it the Lunar U-Haul truck. I got the idea from the Colonial Movers ship on Battlestar Galactica it's in 1/24th scale. I figure that when we start colonizing the Moon we are going to need a way to get our junk there. |

Thanks for the comments guys...actually the cab area is from an old Revell Russian VOSTOK 1/24 model the cargo box is two 1/18 scale diecast car display cases. The engines are a couple of cardboard paper towel tubes with bubble gum machine toy container domes on the ends. I looked up the U-Haul logo on line printed them out on card stock and glued them to the model then I sprayed clear flat over them to seal the ink. I ordered the astronaut figure and painted him in a rented U-Haul space suit everything else is just out of my parts stash. |
