I know not everybody is on FacePlace (I resisted forever) but if you are a fan of Jeff Allison or Dave deal artwork you gotta check out the treasure Jeff just bought off of Evilbay.

I am thrilled that this is being saved for future gens to see and even more so that he grabbed it for a measly 50 BUCKS!

Now that's a find! In my experience, there doesn't seem to have ever been much of a market for this sort of original kit art work. I was at the Toldeo NNL show many years ago and a guy was selling off the original box artwork for a load of Johan kits. Some of the better known kits were fetching $100+ but I scored the artwork for the 66 Rambler for just $30. This was pre airbrush days and yet the quality of the brush and ink work is just stunning.

Older but no wiser.
