Mild March weather here in VA has allowed me to finish up this Deals Wheels Never Was... the 59 Ch'El Camino!
Whitewalls are a set of resin cast wheels, with a mixed set of hubcaps (2 from the El Camino kit, two from the Lindberg 1:32 Super Roadster). The scoop is from a Vandal, side pipes from a Royal Rail, differential from a Lil Gasser. Custom hood decals and plates, and the tonneau is fabbed from sheet styrene.
Chrome trim is mostly Molotow pen, with a bit of BMF.
The Deals driver (also a resin cast head) sports a red sculpy hoodie.
I trimmed the rear window to shorten the cab, but left the roof as is to create a oversized overhang.
The gate originally opened, but I kept breaking the mounting pins off, so it's static now.
As always, thanks for stopping by!

Super cool ! Great job on your Ch'El Camino ! I've always liked tonneau covers but I think this one looks better without it .

Thanks,guys!
To Bob's point, this one sits on the shelf (well, mantel, until my gal tells me it's time to move it to my office) with the tonneau off.
