Awesome job Chuck ! The new wheels and tires are sooo much better than the kit ones . And good ol' Thrush mufflers . . . I must have bought dozens of those things . They'd blow out or rust thru and I'd go get another set !

Gorgeous Vette! Are the wheels and blower from a Muscle Machine die cast? I believe that’s where I scored them Fletch.. I had some of the printed blower belts in my stash at the time .. I painted the red outline on the rims ..

This work is really awesome and love the idea how you put them all together. A way to tell the muscle machine diecast cars to eat its own heart out.. I do have a kit of va va vette but how it was made was to build and play... I like it something different. I did saw an issue in old scale auto magazine.. on feburary 2009 issue, i believe, shows a few page of its modification. I was fascinated by how it went. So with this concept and your work got me arguing in my mind figuring what design I can do. Bummer! I have a thing in my mind ( I ain't telling ) so I will work and finish one of few others first... I did not want to end up with too many unfinished work. I will get to it some day Your work on this car is fantastic and I love how you put them all together and it looks as if it tells the muscle machine to eat its heart out. Fantastic work!

Wow!!! Absolutely Amazing build,Chuck!
I live just outside of Indy and I have attended several Indy 500 Races. The 78 Vette is my favorite Indy 500 Pace Car. You really captured the look of that car! Paint scheme, decals and you one upped them with all of your extra “additions”.
Outstanding work!
