Most of us have been building off and on for decades .. not only cartoon style but I’m sure other subject matter as well .. aside from any. commission work have you ever sold or traded any of your buildups to other modelers over the years ?

I've only ever sold one built up. This went to a rabid bubblecar collector (full size and scale models) in Germany. Luckily it arrived pretty much intact!   |

I have never sold any but have built a few as presents for close friends. I have been offered money to build but that would be like a job and I build for fun only.

Hi there, I have sold mostly unbuilt and sealed kits. I had bought quite too many similiar kits so I decided to downsize some.. so I would say I have sold about 30 kits in the last 10 to 15 months. I have sold a very few built kits.. The one I sold was a quick box build ZZZ 28 in blue color as It was a very early kit I built. I have also built a few regular builds and sold a few. I also sold a built 1/8 scale camaro as it was sitting in box in storage for a long time. I took a few pics of models I had sold. There are a few.      This last one has not been sold and will be selling this in the future.  This is as far as I have in photos I have sold... There may be another but have not taken pics and will put a couple more the future. |

I've never sold any it I've built, after spending so much time on one I kind of hate to part with them ! I have given kits away, and I've built replicas of cars that my friends raced at our local track , but thats about it
