My name is Bob. I build silly little plastic things, but since they make me happy I keep doing it.

I build mostly automobiles but that is not what Ive done for the last couple of years.

I found miniature painting on Youtube a couple of years ago. Instead of simply trying it out I delved into it as though it was the only thing in the universe. I bought the paints, all the strange tools and upgraded my airbrush(s). You name it I got it. Then I spent MANY hours watching YT videos on every technique there was. Then I got into Warhammer and resin figures and I got lost for quiye a long time. I am a member of ModelCarsMag.com and have been one for almost 15 years. I had not logged into that site since the mini bug hit in over 2 years.

I had it pretty bad...

A month ago I came out of it. I built a car start to finish without stopping. I got some silly kits as a gift and started building those. Looks like I found balance after my long dive into mini land. But I have no complaints. I enjoyed myself very much. Upped my painting game significantly. And made a side business out of it as well.

Bob (TooOld) invited me here after he saw somenof my latest victims and said you were a nice bunch and werent judgy types like some can be.

So blame him when it all goes pear
shaped.

My long time friend the late Paul Canney who passed earlier this year and I started this joint and are blessed to have Bob (Tooold) on staff to keep thing in cheque .. glad you made the leap over and hope to see you here for many years to come ! .. we have a bunch of talented toon-heads around here that are sure to keep you elevated in the motivation department.. welcome ..
