Started working on a little something different inspired by the late Sonny DePalma .. Any time Tim Nolan and I start talking on the phone crazy things happen ..

Ok .. so at this point it started taking on a similarity of a “Simon Says” electronic game which is what I was shooting for ..

So from here I decided to go with some cool interplanetary and foreign galaxy designs . While Tim and both were building one he decided to whip us up a couple aliens for pilots one for his and one for mine. I chose to add a piece of fluorescent green plexi to the mix for more effect. Adding LED’s (Tim) and a sound board from VOODOO EFX for the win .. now to shoot some clear and metal flake and let it flash out before stuffing all the electronics into it ..

The divided the green fluorescent plexiglass into 6th’s for the upper LED lights placement hence the 6 holes plus the center . Clear coat is on and a “frost” spray was used on the under side to diffuse the lights that will be placed both top and bottom ..

The green light around the circumference is really going to set it off nicely , great idea !

I couldn’t think of a better day to be downstairs in Area51 .. brutal Midwest temps -35° makes for a good modeling day !! Here’s my final Work In Progress pics next are headed to the “finished” page .. a little last minute kit bashing on the interior and console including added blinking LED’s ..
