Thanks, guys. You can see in the pics that all the pieces are not a seamless fit. The rear hood had to be trimmed a bit to drop behind the edge of the window, and doesn't quite drop snug to the seat back either. The windshield doesn't smoothly fit the contours of the cockpit (most likely from using the snap-kit mold), but it's close. I sealed the little hatch where the homing bird pops out. It probably works fine if you don't paint the Mach V, but I did.

I have a snap kit version, does the glue kit come with the underwater bubble top? I'm using that one mine and it fits pretty good. Of course mines not stock as I suffer from Chopitupitis.

ok .. so the first Mach V I pulled the trigger on is a 1/32nd scale made by Imai .. comes with a cool little "radio control" that you assemble, the shooting bird on the hood (spring loaded) and the retractable METAL saw under the front!! with telescoping camera on the top .. it runs forward and backwards . (oh boy) .. so... I'm in the process of Alclading the little wheels and wiring the controller.. I'm still waiting on my glue version but meanwhile I'm in the process of building this little guy right here ..

Well I'll tell ya want .. this little thing was a pain to build .. oh and the "M" for hood exploded as soon as the decals hit the water so I pieced it together also and will paint the remaining .. kind of depressing when you take all the time to wire the little motor and make all the little accessories work the way they should them get SNAFU'd by a flimsy decal sheet .. oh well .. it was kind of mistake that I ended up with this 32nd scale anywho .. I can hardly wait for the glue kit to arrive !!.. I will post a picture of this little thing once I get the "M" painted ..
