Hi guys. I wanted folks here to see some of the cool stuff that, from time to time, shows up over on the Sculpting Forums run by Jarrod and Brandon Shiflett; also known as the Shiflett Brothers. There's nearly 70,000 people signed up, over there ... so it's inevitable that fans of toons show images of things they're sculpting. Here's just a few such projects, that I've seen over there, that folks here would likely love to see. This one's a cartoon fish (Piranha?) which someone in France sculpted in a scary-but-happy, Rat Fink character style: www.facebook.com/groups/1114208771968434/permalink/6251805604875366/... And this one's another Fink-inspired sculpt: it's called "Bot Fink": www.facebook.com/groups/1114208771968434/permalink/6230968816959045/... or try this short video, showing a fairly large sculpture of the iconic 'toon gear shifting hand, with raised pinky finger: www.facebook.com/groups/1114208771968434/permalink/5254253731297230/There's other stuff like that, from time to time, over there. Here's a search on "fink" to find other stuff ... www.facebook.com/groups/1114208771968434/search/?q=fink

Lots of awesome goodies to see here , thanks for the links ! You're welcome! I saw a notification that Chuck was over there, on those forums, after I had posted that short batch of links. Compared to the various forms of "serious" sculptures, over on those forums, there's (arguably?) usually not a ton of cartoon-related stuff over there, or Toon Monsters ... but when some of those talented sculptors over there are "in that mood," it's a glorious thing! Here's some links to some of my favorite toon-related sculptors, who show their work, pretty regularly, over on those forums. (I'm not listing these in any particular order.) Andy Cope (a sculptor from the UK, who loves doing toon stuff fairly often; and who sells kits of what he sculpts) www.facebook.com/groups/1114208771968434/user/100002549203619Casey Omar Cross www.facebook.com/groups/1114208771968434/user/1017766954/A few 'toon-related sculpting links, from Andy Pearson (who is also from the UK). If memory serves, he has some molded-and-cast toon-related sculpts (monster heads, in about shift-knob size) for sale; and I believe he occasionally sells some original sculpts, as well, from time to time. www.facebook.com/groups/1114208771968434/permalink/5670817236307542/www.facebook.com/groups/1114208771968434/permalink/5701604309895501/www.facebook.com/groups/1114208771968434/permalink/5285040778218525/Here's an image of some of Andy Pearson's personal projects: things that he didn't necessarily sculpt with "making a kit" in mind. (He just likes to sculpt!) If memory serves, this was an image he had sent me, of some of his sculpts that ended up being stored in a (nice) shed, outside; due to not having enough room left in the house. I don't think he'd mind me showing these to other folks, on places like these forums.
