Skate Fink

[Starryeyes]

Paints used were , House of Kolors Kandy over Orion Silver , some parts were painted with semi-gloss or flat paint the. Top coated with satin clear while the main torso was clear coated with House of Kolor Show Klear adding Tropical Glitz red flake to the first layer of clear then 3-4 coats of straight clear were applied over the flake in 15 min. Intervals . The tongue was made from sculpty and painted with Tamiya pink acrylic. The nails are all dry brushed with various flat acrylics then top coated with semi-gloss clear acrylic ..

Perfect start for the summer! This is just cool in every way possible. Colors just flow.
Hey Chuck - make sure he does not skate right off the edge of that shelf as it sure looks like he is bookin' pretty fast.

Looks great Chuck,

Love the HOK paint

When I had my paint shop, people would come in demanding HOK paint,
they would say "I want flake , candy, graphics, etc"
then I would tell them the cost of the paint, and they would say
"paint it Dupont Black" LOL (used to buy black by the 55 gal drum

Thanks old friend ….. Ahhh yes .. good ol DUPONT 88 I believe it was !! I have an 8th scene 32 highboy coupe painted with it .. !!!

Thanks ! It came with a generic tongue .. I grabbed the sculpty and went to work .. then applied Tamiya pink topped with a gloss urethane for the wet look ..

Thanks for the chatter ! There are some printers out there . The best advice I can give is do a a little research on them and the quality of work the do !
