Big Frankie !

I received this “Big Frankie” kit from Moebius as a gift from Tim Nolan so I thought I’d better build it … it will be 3’ tall when done . WOW ! So
Far I have over 6 cautious shades of greens and grays on the skin .. and the clothing in base coats of gray and flat black .. I’ll be doing some dry brushing on the clothes and shoes to weather them just a bit . I’ll also be working on Frankie’s stapled incisions , mouth and eyes .. trying to keep him as creepy as I can !

In the beginning I wanted to stay with an original looking Frankie .. however the more I thought about how many that are most likely built already that are close to the box art .. so why play follow the leader (??) .. what sat out to be the classic “black / gray / brown” Frankie ended up with some flashy duds and shiny shoes … more of a trinket looking build than the Ho-hum boxart … with that being said .. a little House of Kolor Show Klear has been applied on the atire he will be sporting with the exception of his shirt which will be a tad if semi-gloss to help offset the flashy bling and his drab skin tone .. edging closer to the “finished” line !
