I wanted to tell the folks here that "AFM" or "Amazing Figure Modeler" just released their 76th issue ... and having bought a copy of it, and read it, earlier today, I feel that some of you folks on these forums might want to see the build-up of a toon'ed 1940s style Batmobile, that's in those pages. AFM author, Dave Prosser, did some surgery on a "Stoned Hoods and Crooks" toon car kit, for the article called "Batmaniac -- Kreating A Kustom Krimefighter". The article takes up all of pages eight through thirteen, and the pictures are nice and juicy: big, and all-color, etc. Actually, that whole issue might appeal to some folks here, as it was intended as their "animation" issue. Things didn't, apparently, work out for an "only animation" issue, so some of the build-ups are of non-toon subjects ... but at only ten USA bucks per copy, to me it's well worth the cost. Anyway, folks can find out more about the contents of that issue of AFM, over on their web site ... www.amazingfiguremodeler.com/Now that AFM is all-digital, available in a download-able PDF form, they don't have the same page count restrictions that they used to have, when they were a print-only, paper-based magazine. And judging from past editorials they ran, it seems like they can also more easily be found in places other than North America: being available "overseas" is a lot easier for them, now; there's no postage costs to deal with, and so on.
