Super Tanker Zinger

Finding this 1/48 tanker kit at a JoAnn's (50% coupon!!), and knowing I had several Zinger Dragsters in the stash, I figured I'd do up a ZNW (Zingers Never Was).
Here's my Zinger Super Tanker!

Trailer was shortened and modified, and the 5th-wheel mount was moved back to make room for the Zinger engine.

Fronts are kit wheels, and two sets of the dragster double slicks bringing up the rear.

Here's a WIP pic to show how much of the trailer was removed -- also 50% off!

The cab still flips forward, but there's nothing to see, so, no pic.

Horns and mirrors from the parts bin, and, of course, custom decals and chrome pen touches.

For a ZNW that's 100% convincing! Love the "Sinclair"-esque decals, nice touch!

One of those builds that wasn't planned at all.

It just kind of jumped up and bit in.

Except for a clear coat issue (fixable, without the purple pond) and a decal redo,  it moved itself along.

That was a lot of cut and paste, was studying the before and after shots, amazing. It all works, you really captured captured a "Zinger Never Was" ! Cheers
