Over the Top Bob, just killer. The figure is more than meets the eye I can see that. The Duvall windshield is the clincher. I expect nothing less than a great one when I click your posts Bob. I am never disappointed.

All kinds of good stuff going on here. The back story of finishing something started years ago is inspiring I love builds taken from drawings to 3D.
And a Couple of you guys call your builds "Dave Deal Never Was", I call them "Shoulda Beens"
As always, Thanks for the WIP
Great all the way around, Bob
Jim

"Shoulda Beens" sounds good but the "Never Was" name was being used long before I came here , I think maybe Ira used it first .

If the mark of a really well done "Never Was" is that you can see it in kit form, then surely this is as good as it gets. To my eyes, the level of detail and scale fidelity is exactly on a par with the more detailed DW kits like the Phony Car and Super Spurt. Top work!

Wow, Bob, this came out Freakin' Awesome! The starting point was already showing it's potential for greatness, and your finish really brought it home. Love that you gave him a watch and a pinky ring. It's those little touches you always add -- nice!
As to "Deals Wheels Never Was", I guess when I first used it, the double "W" in the acronym of "DWNW" seemed fitting. But I agree, this is definitely a "Shoulda Been"!

I planned on some tatoos but ended up adding the watch and ring instead . I'm on the fence about the name . . . kinda like the double "W" .

Gets my vote of a "Shoulda Been". Makes you wonder how many other Deals Wheels Coulda Beens would be in the works ? The figure really completes the scene. Excellent. Cheers
