Okay, the movie this kit (from X-Plus) is based on came out the year I was born... so, I found it fitting to build it in my first year of retirement. The Cyclops from the 7th Voyage of Sinbad!
I was always amazed by any of Ray Harryhausen's stop-motion animation, and this one was a beauty. The movie showed up at least twice a year on local Sunday afternoon TV when I was a kid.
A great kit, with plenty of detail. There were some online comments about the lack of a back to the prisoner cage, but I thought it gave a better view of the victims. It went together nicely, with just a little putty for the seam between the torso and the hips and a few other minor spots. Lots of drybrushing went on.
He's pretty big, taller than the Aurora Godzilla.
Not a car or a toon, but he was animated, right? Anyway, thanks for lookin'!

Great build of a classic subject! What's not to like with that?
