Atlantis is hitting em outta the park these days. Never saw this or knew about it as a kid. But thanks to the heads over at Atlantis, history is saved and repopped for all of us. I got the box at the dollar store and added a little grass and foliage along the side. Drilled a hole and epoxied an aluminum rod just about so and Bingo, Bobs yer Uncle. I had no idea the kit itself is really just a Tweedy Pie. I was certain it was going to be a smaller scale. Other than the wheels it is a Tweedy Pie kit. I really need to put some puffed up cotton for a nice burnout and at some point I will. For now I am happy to have it on my shelf. Testors Magenta enamel with just enough in the can to finish it. Added some aluminum injector stacks all Willy nilly and parts box decals for his shirt and a few other places. Boss Fink, on the road again.

I think that's the first built up Boss Fink I've ever seen and, boy, was it worth the wait! You've done Mr Roth proud.
Still not sure how he's supposed to be driving it though..........

Your display with the front end up in the air is awesome ! It may be a stock Tweedy Pie but you added to the look with your injector stacks . . . and the magenta paint looks better than the normal metallic purple , excellent work !

And for all of you who are observant you'll see my Rodfather build there to the left of the Boss Fink.
I would like to the Bob TooOld for the decal sheet and inspiration for that build. It was a grail of mine and with the decals, Bob's own build of the kit, and my possession of a Tweedy Pie II, I was able to realize that dream build.
The decals were mint and with some coaxing they went on fine after over 4 decades sitting in a box somewhere.
My next grail is my first ever kit, a Bug Bomb. My Dad and I built it at the kitchen table like 2 kids instead of one parent and a child. It is something I will be pursuing this year. I don't have a single part, but I have the will and that's a start!

If you are looking for tire "smoke" check out Michaels foe halloween cob webbing. Can be colored with chalks (dry pigments). Pull it apart and install. Photo shows "smoke" attached to a stiff wire coated with cell-u-clay. Cheers
