Thanks Scott, In lookin' around online it looks to me that Epoxie Sculpt (Aves) and Magic Sculpt Epoxy are just about the same thing just different brands. Are you usin' the Aves brand stuff? Where did you get it? Smokey

Hey Scott, I searched your posts. You do very, very nice work. Also by lookin' at your work area it answered some more of my questions and added a couple more. On your spray booth I see the vent exit on the side above the Hurst sticker. But where does the booth draw from the object being sprayed side? I just see a wall of newspaper and a short wall below the newspaper. Is there a gap between the paper wall and the short wall or is it updraft or...? Thanks again,Smokey

Yes I use the Aves Apoxie Sculpt. The spray booth has a gap of about 3" from bottom of the angled baffle to rear wall of booth. I cover the baffle and bottom of the booth with newspaper and change it regularly to keep a nice clean spray booth environment.

I use the Sculpty Putty that DOES NOT have to be baked to harden.. I buy it at Hobby Lobby or any of the larger chain hobby shops.. like Michaels as so on.. great stuff! ! I used it on "Slot Nut" to reform arms, fingers, jacket and his belly .... even used a dab to fill in and smooth places on the reformed helmet .. when mixed properly you can smooth it with a dab of water on you finger ,,, then allow to air-dry ..

I usually buy super sclupey from Michaels and had build them.. They are very easy to use. Also I get to buy some various color of sclupey that come sin an ividual color rather than painting them and to speed up your work after you complete them. You can even add a few tints of color to complete the work. I used these on one of my Baja Humbug driver. Here's the example... I build this before final assembly final assembly I also built a bunny that got spatted on the car... and is also used with super sclupey in colors. hope this tip helps. b
