So a big TOON fan. . . I was surprised to find this at a bottom of a box. . . I have never seen it before. Any clue to what it is? Is it part of a set? I didn't know where to post this? Hope here is OK? Gb barten

Never seen that one before ! I have a Hot Wheels collectors guide so I'll take a look and get back to you . Thanks, I think it is a color changer? That was only released in a two pack? But I haven't seen another one or the pack? If you could find some more info that would be great! Gb barten

Nothing in my Collectors Guide but it only covers 1969 to 1999 . It also shows all multi-paks and still nothing . Lots of strange cars were made , one called Rigor Motor in 1994 looks like the same base-wheels-engine but is a different body . This is a link to photos of all Hot Wheels from 1968 to 2013 . Good Luck ! hotwheels.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_1968_Hot_Wheels

Don, I thought the same thing. . . and the fabulous AJ found — knew what it was and then found an image from ebay. He has a great knowledge base on hotwheels and plastics. He is my go to guy! I've never seen it either. . . I wish I knew it was a set. . . I would have looked for the other one too! I was also told it was a McDonald's toy because the three square indents on the bottom (I never heard that before) But it wasn't 1994 Hot Wheels COLOR FX Monster Models Sting Rod & Off Roadent 12111-0911. . . it only came in this two pack. . . and this one was in the package listed for $3.99 with $3.00 shipping. . . .and no bids! WOW And the auction closed. I might have others form the series. . . but didn't know they were these! ? ? ? I will have to soak them to see! GB barten

Hey, I'm learning something new everyday ! Thats really cool that AJ came up with that. I've seen a bunch of the color changers, but that two pack takes the cake ! Maybe the pink color turned a lot of kids off from buying them ? There sure doesnt seem to be any on Ebay
