As many of you may or may not know , I retired in late December of 2016.. things in life have pretty much fallen in place . Considering our present state of economy I've weeded out a lot of things I thought I needed in the modeling sense If the word .. having said that my son who is a Corp. Chef remembered a specific item I had been on the hunt for last year which was the Werner Motorcycle.. well my son totally blindsided me this week after delivering a package from overseas .. turns out he has a former Marine from his unit that found the kit and shipped it.. yep, I received these for a retirement gift from my son .. it was an emotional moment !! Not just one but both of them , congrats ! Now that you have all this free time on your hands you should be able to zip right through that stash of kits you have . . . at least that's what I thought but it didn't happen .  |

I find I have less time since I retired than when I was working! Retirement still beats getting up every day and going to work!

I recently bought this Dune Rat sight unseen . The seller said it was in pieces in a box , looked complete and had a tail ! That sounded like it wasn't glued , probably was missing the bumper and/or exhaust , and it probably had only half of the tail . The price was right and so was the seller . . . 100% complete !  
Now if I can find a blue one . . .  |

Three I just got recently. The two big ones are about 1/32 scale. The little off road VW is smaller than a hot wheels - maybe HO scale. Attachment Deleted |

I've seen a few of those Lo-Rider kits on ebay lately but haven't pulled the trigger yet . And those Japanese kits . . . there are so many of them over the years I don't know how we could ever catalog them ! Keep posting them , very interesting ! |
