Speaking of Dune Rats . . . I just scored this one molded in Orange and White . It's not complete but I don't care because it's got an unbroken tail !! I seriously doubt I'll find the missing parts molded in white so this one will get parts painted white to finish it . And HEY , it's got a TAIL !!!

Yes!! I was wondering if you won that one. I was watching it, but figured I'd NEVER be able to find the missing white wheel. Glad to see that enough of it was there to get it to what you've built.
Plus, I was going for an orange Bad Medicine, which I won. This one is complete and very cleanly built, with no paint at all, so I'm happy.

Brian I was watching that Bad Medicine too , it's very cool looking . Congrats ! And you're right , finding a white wheel isn't going to happen in this lifetime . Going to go with one cast in white resin .

It was hard to tell from the auction pictures whether the Bad Medicine was orange or red, but I could tell it was not the standard pink. I was quite pleased to open it and see the bright orange plastic. Brian

I'm having a run of good luck lately . This week I picked up a few hard to find kits really cheap , including this original AMT Va Va Vette ! Unbelievably I paid less than it costs to buy a new kit at the LHS !

Some of you know that I work with a $15 a month budget. That's models and supplies. This past month I went over budget with the very awesome Resin buggy from Starryeyes, but I got 2 so that was a huge score. Thanks again Chuck. Looking at ways to shave money out of the rest of the year to get back on track. I ran across a 4 pack of weird-ohs for $8 on amazon, ok $7 and change. every penny counts Looks like I'll be back on budget soon. Oh wait I'm going to need lots of filler putty. Wanting to see what was in the boxes I opened Killer and then Wade. The Killer McBash looks fun. But wait when I opened Wade A Minut, there were two looking back at me. Is the Correct? Do I get two? Was I just handed twins? Cause I thought I only had to feed one monster. This is a lot of mayhem. What ever! super cool!

I have a Wade A Minut but have never opened it . . . I think the Toon Gods are repaying you for melting that poor little bug !

Oh and the buggy's fine. Just has very fine soap bubbles

As many of you may or may not know , I retired in late December of 2016.. things in life have pretty much fallen in place . Considering our present state of economy I've weeded out a lot of things I thought I needed in the modeling sense If the word .. having said that my son who is a Corp. Chef remembered a specific item I had been on the hunt for last year which was the Werner Motorcycle.. well my son totally blindsided me this week after delivering a package from overseas .. turns out he has a former Marine from his unit that found the kit and shipped it.. yep, I received these for a retirement gift from my son .. it was an emotional moment !!
