This Danbury Mint "Mr Gasser" belonged to a neighbor until his 5 year old son knocked it off the shelf . I literally grabbed it as it was being thrown in the garbage ! It was in pretty bad shape , the car was broken off the base , his arm was broken off as was his pinky , and his hair was in a dozen little pieces . Of course the exhaust flames were snapped off too ! That was two months ago and now it's back in one piece again . Getting the pieces to line up and gluing the ceramic together was quite a challenge . . . touching up the paint was the easy part !   |

Usually when I see a "Buy It Now" listing with a "Make Offer" I'll make a reasonable offer just making up for the shipping charges and maybe a couple of bucks . This was a brand new listing and I figured what the heck , so I made a real lowball offer of nearly half his BIN price . The seller must have been desperate ' cause he took it ! You just never know .  |

Its true what you say ; I won a Tognotti's T with a "buy it now" ; It just got posted so I put in a ridiculous low bid ($15.00) just to keep it on my watch list and less then 5 minutes later I won it ! |
