I picked up this beauty from Ebay for a mere $35. It's more toy than kit, but it does build some inteesting cars. The finished cars are 14 inches in length and I'm assuming that's about 1/18 scale, but I could be wrong. It's very thick plastic and screams early 60s automotive design. It kind of reminds me of the General Motors design contests back in the early to mid 60s. Very nostalgic. If anyone's interested I'll snap a car together so you can have a look. That looks cool ! I've never seen one of those- I'd like to see the contents !

I won this on Ebay last week . It's missing one scoop , the radiator , and the belt / pulleys , but I have a complete Li'l T'rantula on the shelf so I can cast those parts . Now I can build a customized one to display with my Li'l Red Baron ! It wasn't even listed as a TD kit and I came across it by accident on the last night of the auction !

I recently snagged a couple Deal's reissues... I've mainly been repairing previously built kits where small parts have decided to allow gravity to take over..lol.. a little glue and presto!.. I guess I shouldn't be so stingy with the sticky stuff...

Well I felt the need to start our own "SCORE" thread .. A.J. started one on the CC2 board and it's been quite successful ..(thanks AJ!! what a great idea!) I wish I could totally take credit for it but I actually carried it over from the volksrod.com forum. I am quite happy at the success of the thread at the Coffin Corner though. I'll have to see what I can do to contribute to yours here. Although I'm a bit removed from the model world at the moment, I still watch for kits when I'm swap meet hopping. The last thing I picked up was a GoMad Nomad at the Carlisle swap meet 2 years ago for 10 bucks. Built up but no glue bomb with the box. I'm still happy regardless of reissues.

There is evidently a whole series of these 2-wheeled cars. They stay upright when you roll them. Structo is the company that made them. The tire is about 1/24 scale so I think this would be a good start for something wild - maybe a dragster? Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

Ever since I watched Pat build his Little Red Corvette I've been on the lookout for one of these . . . FOUND ONE ! Same here Bob... it's all Pat's fault for having such a great imagination and building such cool models... Pat did such an outstanding job a few of the cool kids had to have one too !! I think I'm gonna have a shirt made that reads "Pat made me do it"...
