That Testor's "Dope" brings back memories . My big brother built balsa and tissue paper airplanes so he had some different colors sitting around . I painted my first model with some of it . . . it wasn't pretty !

Ever since I watched Pat build his Little Red Corvette I've been on the lookout for one of these . . . FOUND ONE ! Same here Bob... it's all Pat's fault for having such a great imagination and building such cool models... Pat did such an outstanding job a few of the cool kids had to have one too !! I think I'm gonna have a shirt made that reads "Pat made me do it"... I didn't know I got this all started guys,I will have to keep an eye you. Do I get a shirt that says "I made them do it" ?

I sure would like to find another one of those ! Orange is one of those colors that seems to be hard to find in spray cans . I used Chevy Engine Orange on my McLapper but it's got a lot of red in it and wasn't really what I wanted . I've also tried Hugger Orange and a couple others from Home Depot and they all have red in them . The best orange I've found is a combination of Tamiya colors : TS-16 Yellow over a white primer , topcoated with TS-73 Clear Orange . Two or three coats of Clear Orange will give you a really nice color .

Plasti-Kote had a really nice orange that I used to paint my Tijuana Taxi , I think you can still find that brand at Wesrern Auto stores
