Hey it's good to see ya still at it , that's some mighty fine work you're doing there !  I'm thinking that it must weigh quite a bit by now , any thoughts on how you're going to keep it up in the air ? |

thanks Bob  no definitive plans to that end as yet. i know that i'd prefer to not have any kind of a prop rod that shows. i am planning on doin some kind of tire smoke effect, so perhaps it could be hidden. any suggestions you may have would be gladly accepted. |

Might I suggest googling Ed "Newt" Newton. His artwork was the mainstay for Ed Roths' T-Shirts. I think the distorted cars he drew are similar to your creation.

i'm still workin on this one! had to take a break from it to finish a couple other builds with shorter finish dates. also because i just couldn't decide on a paintjob/color for this. here's my recent progress, got some paint and carpet done to the interior  started gettin some color on the motor  got all four tires/wheels finished  first color coat on the body(if my plan goes well there will be 4 more colors to go with it)  and finally arrived at a set of headers i can live with. they aren't quite as big as i wanted(tube diameter) but they'll do  enjoy  |

Wow , what a difference a little paint makes ! I'm kind of a tire junkie , I feel they can make or break a model . . . and yours are excellent ! |

got a good bit done on this last couple days. just a little more yellow and it'll sit for a couple days while the paint cures fully and i can wetsand and clear it. having said that, please keep in mind that any brush strokes you may see won't be around for the end result some red  some blue  some yeller  devil head "decal" actually a picture cut out of a magazine ad, glued on with laquer glosscote and a layer of gloss coat over it. it worked well and i'm pleased  foiled the scoop  and painted and plumbed the injectors   cheers |
