Received Glitter Bugs Today !

I received my two Glitter Bugs I had pre-ordered from Tower Hobbies today ! Everything is as expected , but the big surprise is it is molded in plain old white plastic !
I'm sure some would prefer the original green plastic but I really prefer the white , it's not as brittle and is much easier to paint and work with in general .
One thing that hasn't been fixed is the distorted tires from sitting in the box for long periods if time . The tires in both my kits showed some signs of warping , oh well .

I got my Glitter Bug kit this weekend, too ... and after seeing it again, in person, I ordered another one the day after it arrived.

Cute kit! Gonna be fun to play with! (I have two builds in mind, myself.)

My main thought, upon seeing it again, is that I didn't remember it being that small, from the first one I built back in the 1970s ... but then again, mostly I was into 1:72 scale tanks and planes, then; so in comparison this kit would have seemed huge at the time!

Anyway ... thanks, Revell! You're making our days much sunnier with great re-releases like this one!

Shoot, I'll but a kit just to get the new chrome and the glass for a couple of originals I restored !
