Once again: just freakin' awesome ... and then some! (And super fast, too!)
Just a suggestion (to either you, or other folks reading this thread) but the Dust Games web site sells some great military-themed decals. I probably have all of the sets they've made so far; or close to it. Every one of their decals that I used, went down perfectly and gave me zero problems. Likes the usual decal setting solutions, etc. And best of all: it's not 100% straight-forward, rivet-counting WWII military. It has enough of that look, but their universe is more like, "What if WWII kept going into 1946? And what if everyone had at least some futuristic technology from alien spacecrafts? And what if a few crazily-armed zombies were running around? And shouldn't there be some mechanized gorillas, too? And what if pin-up models were the stars of the show, on all of the sides who were fighting?"

Great Progress! You might want to spray on some Glosscoate before you apply the decals, so that the Decals will lay down without fogging on the edges. Then you can spray finish coats of Flat or Gloss Clear over the Decals. Just a suggestion, Looks Great...

Thanks for the input, guys! I ran off a set of decals I had designed, clear coated them, then did the gloss treatment to the body before and after applying the decals. I just wasn't happy with the outcome. I want to make sure I keep that smooth dull olive drab look. I may try again, putting a lighter coat of clear on the decals next time. So, the body is in the purple pond at the moment. But, here's the former-service-member-now-peace-nik driver!

That's too bad , it was lookin cool ! Instead of using a gloss clear to seal the decals maybe you could use DullCote and apply them directly onto the paint . I've never tried it and the edges might show . . . just thinkin' .
