We've got to hear the rest of the story Pat if you don't mind sharing ... !! this is just too cool !!... That would be a long story ,I've worked with him for 25 years. I'll give a short version ,He was in the Navy on a SHIP not a BOAT,and I always ask him what happens if you shoot all the guns on one side of the BOAT at the same time? Will it flip over ? Well I got the answer ! It's not hard to get him started going on any subject. But most of the time he can answer just about any question you ask him ,just be prepared for the answer. One day there was something on TV at work about personal Subs and I asked him if he ever thought about building one? He said yes without even thinking about it( We call him MacGyver). And that's when I got the idea. He really is a good guy and would do anything for you. So this is kind of a tribute to him.He has seen it and he's aright with it ,but he would have been happier with a SHIP or a helicopter .He wears his sock cap folded in a certain way and was mad when his black and orange cap went missing years ago.The name U.S.S.Popcorn is because he eats popcorn every day and burns it every time. I still need to add a few more thing that fit in and I will tell you about them as I add them. With a nickname like MacGyver there has to be a paperclip ,string ,and maybe a matchbook.

Just love this! And the rust is so cool. Any info on how you built it or the parts used? Thanks, the main part is a rocket ship candy container that I found at Old Navy for a dollar or so. I used some pieces from the Depth Charger kit and some parts box pieces.
