The Weird-ohs book is out now. Very nice book filled to the brim with everything you ever wanted to know about Weird-ohs and Bill Campbell the guy that invented them. Attachment Deleted

Yes, Ira, most (not all) of the build ups featured in the book are mine. I was pretty lucky he liked my stuff enough to include them in this really cool book. There would have been more but I could not build them in enough time before the book was published. RF

I received "The Weird-oh World" about an hour ago and I could not put it down ! HOLY COW , this is unlike any other modeling book I've ever seen ! It's big and heavy ( printed on very heavy stock ) and absolutely worth every penny I paid for it ! And if you're looking for some ideas you have to get this book . The "Weird-ohs That Never Were" chapter is 16 pages with dozens of original artwork , plus there are 3 more chapters about follow-up model series that Bill Campbell created but that were never produced ! The list price is $39.99 but Amazon has it for $29.96 + shipping . I guarantee that you'll be glad you spent the money on this one !

Yea - I am still amazed at how nice this book is. I keep looking through it every day. It is really high quality. Much different than regular Schiffer books. A little bigger and the paper used is amazing. The info on HAWK models is also very interesting. Plus Bill Campbell's bio. The what-ifs are nice - I really like the Dunkvasser - that would have been a cool kit. Worth every penny.

I just got my copy in, today. Still browsing through it. Will be, for a while now ... it's that big! As other folks have already chimed in and said: it's well worth every penny (and then some)! Between that cool book, and also having pre-ordered the latest "Spritz by Fritz" DVD set (which will arrive later, at some unknown point), I feel like Christmas came early and stayed late. Mega-Coolness!
