Thanks Ira and Scott ! I made some quick cuts to shrink the interior down to size . This guy climbed out of his Glitter Bug to see if he could fit in the pace car ! I used the stock Camaro spoilers as a base for making new ones . He fits ! And I think he likes it !

After a week I'm finally back at it . Not much to show , I spent some time making sure the interior fits and doing a little finishing work on the body . If all goes as planned it should be painted this time tomorrow !

Freakin' sweet! The figure really adds some extra class and personality to it. Great pick, on using that particular guy!

I've spent the last four days working on the decals , it's a slow process waiting for everything to dry completely . . . especially when I keep screwing them up and having to remake them ! The original white paint was just a cheap generic brand I used to check the body work . Once it was dry completely I sprayed a light coat of Tamiya Pure White . Much better . The first decals to go on were on the wheel arches . Much trickier than I expected and they have a few wrinkles , If I can't smooth them out I'll make new ones . The stripes on the rear deck are okay but I screwed up the hood twice ! (Just being tired and stupid) Here's the third set . Between letting the ink dry and the bonder between coats (3) it takes about 6 hours and then they have to dry before they can be applied ! Finally they're on and most of the wrinkles are gone !

I also decided that Harold should be an older guy driving his restored Pace car !
