This tripod has the red colors described in the original story.
I used the WOTW base from the Moebius kit with the ground under the tripod's feet smashed down. The tripod is from an old and rare Japanese Starblazers kit. I turned the body of the tripod into an insect looking head by adding teeth, a mouth and eyes and relocating the antenna. Also added some engines in the rear.
