As the title states this is one of my contest entries, it'll be in the "open group...I think". Here's what I started with, it's an R/C car that's 'sposed to be a Mustang near as I can figure.....no matter, I'm going to morph it into the ACME GT 500! If I was to guess what scale it is I'd have to say around 1/10th.

There's just something about cutting up plastic that makes ya feel good. A little trim from here and there makes it much easier to start cutting out BIG chunks and hoping that you can beat what's left into what you had in mind to start with.

After some head scratchin', cutting, twisting, cussing, adding a side scoop, vent whatever it's starting to take on the "look" I'm after...not much left of the R/C car.

It does kinda sorta look like a Mustang in places . Should make a wild Acme GT 500 ! I can smell the plastic from here !

Thanks Ira, the passenger side door will also be hinged at the bottom....when open the belt fed 20mm rotating cannon will be in lock 'n load mode.

Yep , very cool ! I especially like the Sidewinder missiles . . . I was a Guidance System Tech in the Air Force .
