On the MCM site someone posted that Car-toons magazine may be coming back ,anyone know anything about it?

I saw that on the MCM site a couple of days ago and moved on after I read the first few posts .
It sounded like somebody said something to somebody else on Facebook who then started an "Official" CarToons Facebook page .
Sounds fishy to me !
Unless there's something on the Petersen Publishing site or another reputable source , I'm not going to pay any attention to it .

This may not be Trosley but it is Fred Boatman and it is Cartoons and a great book. His car- toon art and stories reprinted from Hot Rod Cartoons, SurfToons, Cycletoons and Cartoons! Over 300 pages of cartoons. By the way it is not a coloring book like it says on the cover. It is black and white reprints of all the cartoons way back in the old days! Ohhhh Noooooo , more money spent before I have it ! When I was a kid I honed my drawing skills by copying Fred's cartoons and I still love them ! Thanks for the info Fletch !  |

According to the CARtoons Facebook page it has been bought and is being developed again. I believe they were looking at getting some of the original artists on board for new stories and were having success with that. So we'll see how it develops.
Has anyone bought Fred Boatman's book yet? I'm interested in opinions on it.
