It's the "Summer Fun in the Sun Car-toon Contest" ! Contest will run - April 25th -September 30th with prizes for 1st-2nd-3rd places !! Build anything cartoon related.. Caricature's, cars, planes, vans, boats, ANYTHING!! WHAT QUALIFYS ? Any kit in your stash from a stalled project, builder kit, or new project, yes even that old builder you bought on eBay and completely disassembled to rebuild!! AS LONG AS IT'S BUILT BY YOU & CARTOON RELATED YOU'RE GOOD!
All kits must be posted in the WORK IN PROGRESS thread in UNBUILT or DISASSEMBLED condition .. Kit bash it, build it box stock, just have fun !!! Any entry that has been previously shown or seen on another website, purchased as a buildup in its original state, built & finished by someone else, or an "old" build that has been on your shelf will NOT qualify and will be disqualified.. We want to keep everyone motivated and building new and fun stuff.. Now we realize not everyone will be able to participate in the summer time.. Once the entries are closed all voting will be sent to "Tooold" for tallying and all votes are final. This SHOULD allow those who couldn't participate in the winter to do so in the summer.. ! All builds will be put into one group for judging.. So set back ... Relax and choose your subject.. BEFORE you start be sure to post your unbuilt (or disassembled builder) model in the WIP portion of the board to qualify.. And let the fun begin !! |

Hey gang !
It's great to see that some of you have already started your entries for the "Fun in the Sun" contest , and I also see lots of familiar names visiting the board to see what we're all up to !
If you're wondering about prizes for the contest , I can tell you that we'll have some news very soon . We plan on having many more contests in the future , and promise that you won't be disappointed !
In the mean time , if you'd like to donate or have a suggestion for future contests , shoot me a PM .
