I am thinking of entering this car in the contest. I have decided it to be a Baldwin Motion Camaro. The idea with all the wild things into one package. and will be using this Funster zzzzzz28. It will be quite many modifications on that, it wont be much of whats on the model car itself. It will be quite a while before I finally start. but that's an idea for now.

Hello Guys, I am now back after a hectic busy month last month.. and Now I am about to start this and am gonna try finish all before long I decided to start by basically putting body together to help me guide what the revision should be made. the front grill doesnt look right in that appearance comparing to the real one... it is as of the chin is protruding like this face.... I know youre laughing this should be something funny and fun. so I just marked the line on that grill.. still waiting for the glue to dry completely and then will saw off the area and add some strips to make it rounded out. I will be making scratch built grill and hopefully fit them in. Thats for now. More will come

I agree with you completely about the nose/grille needing to be shortened , it's the one part of this body that I've never liked . It should look 100% better when you're finished !

Hello again I took my day off from work for an event, so now that I am home for the afternoon and my kids are not in school nor in sports activities so I stole my time doing the work and did quite a lot in a couple of hours. Really fun and challenging working on them... here are what I have done so far. I cut up the long grilled and determined the length, as I looked in an original picture, I see they have lines on these front areas so I did nt want to lose these so I cut as much as I can and experiment the length of the grill.. I see this is still too long, so I sanded and shorten to the estimated length. sorry, the picture is a bit blurry but you can see most of them ... I see the trim around the grill is a bit bare so I added the thinnest sheet of plastic and strip up to cover some area on edge, now thats better... still working on that. I need to scratch build a hood scoop, so I use the same plastic sheet and cut up to fit and use this as a base, in the font of the scoop , I had to hand bend it.. which is easy. I then experiment with the paper making sizes and estimating and it needs some trim around the side and along with the inner front needing space to work with. So I created the size like this and try to apply that and hopefully it will work with the putty in the future. Sucess!... it looks good but will need to apply putty and will work around , sanding them in the later time. Well, as always, these tires tend to stick out and sometmes is a bit out of proportion so I decided to cut two threads shorter. Will have to work with the wheels to fit in. It will not be that hard, because I had done that with my surfin nomad. You get better as you go. I then add the back and will be working with spoiler attached to the original spoiler. I cut piece of paper to test fit and trim. then cut the same type of thin plastic sheet. Well thats all for now, its a lot of time invested in, and am taking a break from this enginnering department. I will add the putty in most area and when dried, will sand up to smooth up the areas, hoping it becomes like much of this original picture up in the beginning. More to come

It definitely is time consuming to make changes and add to these bodies , and in some ways I think it's harder to make a Toon look right than it is a regular car model . Your mods are lookin' right to me !

Your mods are lookin' right to me ! Very much so, some times creating a cartoon requires the right character to blend in , even the details so this is where I see the car that needs some certain details that blends well with other. I feel that the company that does them wants to create their own signature and work with Dave Deal to make it mostly of the company. The artist who does them would probably want the better size of tires and to stick with but doesnt go as he expected.. OH well. at least we can do the modification.
