WAHOOOO !!!! the 4 hawk weird ohs arrived yesterday... digger,louie,daddy and eddie. i think i'm going to choose digger as my official entry for the contest. i didn't have time to take any photos of the un built kit but will do so as soon as i can.

COOL !As a kid the Weird-Ohs were among the first kits I ever built , and Digger is still one of my favorites ! I can't wait to see your's go together !

as promised here is the box of weird ohs...i was so excited to see it sitting in the mail box yesterday ..can't wait to get started on it.    this will be my first entry for a model contest...hope it comes out half as nice as the models i see here |

well... i'm not getting to far... long day on the farm, all i accomplished was washing the parts off and sanding the rough edges off diggers helmet and body....tomorrows another day

small update...i really did not like the side pipes coming out of diggers helmet very much and decided to fill in the holes.    i need to fine sand it a bit...i did this at 5 am this morning after letting the super glue dry from last night..i get in a little modeling in. early in the morning before i head out to work. |

wish i had more progress to show....it's been a very long week here on the farm...not much build time..i've been mostly cleaning up the parts and priming the wheels , i'll post updated photos as soon as i can..i'm soon glad this contest will not end till sept..i'll need the entire summer to finish this i think.
