Got a pic of the box it came in? That part of things, I haven't seen yet ... actually, didn't even know had happened. Sounds cool! Just some little stick-on labels I printed to identify who the package is from !

Got the package, thank you Wardster, you're kind and I will make use of it sometimes in the future. Again thank you You're welcome! And no rush or pressure or anything. They're just there as "temptations" ... as is everything we each have in our Towering Stashes of Modeling Goodness! "temptations" ( foot tapping) yeah, I just got vamped... and my mind is thinking ideas....

Awesomeness! Thanks back, guys, for your enthusiasm! Much appreciated!
The idea of someone's daughter being all excited over building a "Glitter Tank" is a big kick. The hobby needs more younger modelers! (Not that there's anything wrong with older males, like, ummm, me, but ...) Anyway, thanks for encouraging impressionable youngsters! We were all in that mode, once upon a time ... and I'm happy to say, the folks here are still hanging on to that very fun mindset!

I'm finding that another bit of coolness, to me, is seeing these turrets sitting in someone else's shop areas. Take for instance: car-toons.proboards.com/post/7867/threadAs I had implied, over in the "Post Your Scores" thread: it's pretty motivating, seeing something made "in secret" spread out, like ripples in a pond, when a person does something like make a custom-made part for a toon kit; and then puts copies into the hands of appreciative builders. I'd even go so far as to encourage others to think about projects they might want to do, to contribute to future prize packages, for future contests. And as mentioned over in that other thread, it doesn't even have to be cast resin parts. What about homemade decal sheets? Those are always useful, and fun to have around. And pooling our resources, across multiple group members, is another idea. I'm sure there are oodles of ideas that I'd never have thought of, so I'd encourage others on these forums to give it some thought. It's work, doing stuff like this ... but it's rewarding to see the fruits of your labors fall into the hands of fellow builders!!
