Belive it or not, I was looking at the exact one here at home still thinking.. what to do with this and what would I like it to be.... ( pondering ) I got these kits as an extra with other kits through e bay in the past.. and had separated them placing them in the right group and use for restoration. I happen have an old deals wheels vw van box and used them where I keep these. Along with them are bag full of parts that belongs to one each kits. So I am waiting for an idea to come up. and even with a few kits that I plan on building but left it in box as I have not decided the genre. I have a few others more in boxes which I am saving for the best. Yeah, I do have this herbie... this a grail for Deals Wheels fans. I only have one.. and will not sacrifice that LOL

I'm sure not an expert about these things but I'd guess that the Funster Bug is more rare than Herbie is . I've read that production was stopped shortly after the Bug was released in the eighties , so fewer of them existed to begin with !

There are most Funster kits which is often seen on list are trans um, camaro, mclapper, 57 chevy, corvette and ..some times mailbu... but for the bug, its a lot rare similar to the herbie. I have compared with the two bugs of its own design, I see the difference... the bug from funster and herbie share the same mold while the bug out does not have sun roof so they made two different molds .... Which led me to think that this funster bug and herbie is a lot scarcer. If you take a look, you should see the top of the bug comparing these two kits... You may notice the two different color, well this yellow one is from the funster and the white one is from herbie. This funster kit, you dont see that a lot now days ...
