question about Model car becoming famous

I have wondered if you all know these certain model cars that had made most famous and became highly collectible items. I do know Deals Wheels are one of them but what about some those created by the well reputable builder and is put in the museum?

Are there any museums we can visit? I do heard one in utah but was not sure if they are officially a museum where we can see all the built models created by reputable builder that passed on..

I am curious about that because I do know there should be one as similar to those famous paintings or artworks or any type...

I've heard that it hasn't been active for quite some time and Mark Gustavson doesn't reply to any emails . Not sure though as those are just internet rumors .
