More tips to explore..... I took the time to play with the background and create several pictures with this car. As you may have wondered where I get all this... Well I create a staging for the model car to sit and create photos. The background is simply several color paper and cut to create design of the 50s. I did some research on all designs during the era. Then applied with black felt pen to create some dynamic design over them. The floor is simply a foam core board based along with coffee stirrer. I bought a pack of coffee stirrer and glued on the board to create the wood floor like texture. Hours spent on them and when all dried up, I sand up whole floor to create a smooth texture. The lighting I used is simply a wreath light kits used for christmas lights. I used them along with hot glue on a board to create a line like feature and shine on the car to give the glitter lights on body. The result came out really amazing. as you may wonder how the light works, and how the stage is set. I enclosed photos for you to see... all these feature are strictly scratch built. I drew lines on the foam core board cut to fit and counted the number of lights on a wire then create a grid. The lights were counted as 36 lights so i created as in 6 x 6 ... then attach the led light bulb with a hot glue onto the board, twisting the wire to set on. the result came out well and I can use them for creating pictures with effects. It costs me merely 5 to 7 dollars for everything. Need more details? , drop a line.

Applying the foil around the window takes time.. I used q-tips to press them after putting them on. I then used a fresh razor blade to cut through. Not used one. then after I removed the excess, I then do again with q-tips. One thing you need to keep in mind is when you paint the body car, don't leave a mess or a line mark on the frame of the window. The foil will still show the line of the paint that you did not cover. So when you paint, be sure to keep the paint smooth on the windows. The foil will still show whats on the trim after its painted.
Actually its tough. Posting them in photos sometimes does helps disappear few marks on the car.. comparing to seeing it in person for real. I must admit the areas in there does show some unwanted marks and I find ways to fix it. Some works, some dont. It takes some time reminding yourself on what you need to do before all this comes.
