This fight aint over.... latest build

Here is my latest build, Thought i'd try something different this time so i picked up a gun dam model. I have to tell you ,if you haven't built one of these things  TRY IT!!!! you'll like it.. Can't tell you how impressed i am with the enginering of these things. its a snap kit no glue needed or painting, but most paint them. i did not paint this one but the next one will be. I was a bit nervous to paint it and try to figure out how to put this thing together. you see all the direction with these kits are in Japanese . but  it was a pure pleasure doing this kit. the kit is articulated . the hands alone have 4 parts, each finger is jointed. the legs took me a couple of hours each to put together. everything fits into place like a glove. I decided after i finished to add some battle scaring and detail paint. used a dremel for the battle damage and model master metalizer buffing paint for the detailing. dark oil wash. scratch built the morning star. these robots reminded me of gladiators so i decided to add the morning star. which was made from a bit of chain a bead, toothpicks and a bit of tubing. the base is a chunk of asphalt that i painted..suppose to be an asteroid     Thanks for looking
