Hi guys!
My first build thread here...
I'm using the Polar Lights "Snap-It" '33 Willys and kit bashing with the body of the BanDai '63 Vette coupe, as well as parts from the Revell '63 snap Vette and '67 glue kits.
The untouched body, front view:
rear:
And a mock-up of what I have in mind...
YES! It will be yellow!
Surprisingly, 1/25 Revell parts fit pretty well with some mods. I'll probably make my own wheel centers, and make other things more realistic as I go. Some scratchbuilding and aluminum parts as well...
Happy New Year everyone!

great combo Jeff ! I'll be following along in a front row seat ... If got one of the Corvette kits in my stash and I'm curious to see how your parts from other scales work

Thanks for the encouragement fellas
Let the mods begin...from this:
to this:
to this...reshaped the "split" to be more like the 1:1. Drilled taillight openings to fit the Revell '67 chrome bezels, but these aluminum tubing pieces look better I think. Also fitting the '67 bumpers and license plate bezel. Not much work to get these to fit...I think I'm going to fill the fuel filler I originally drilled out. I put it where it was molded but after looking at 1:1 pics, it should be centered in the "triangle", not towards the window opening Gotta get all of these chrome pieces modded so I can send 'em out for plating!
