Thanks...its tax time....and i'm trying to put the taxes together ...takes me about 2 weeks...i haven't had much bench time... and the weather is not conducive to painting...very cold this past week... today it warmed up to 60 but its pouring out... all i have done is a primer and a base of color...nothing worth showing.

Great paint job on the body , adding the extra glitter really makes it pop ! I've used Glitterblast before and it does take many many coats of clear to get the look you have achieved . . . . I hope you sprayed the Glitterblast outside !

Oooo, sparkly! And I hear ya on painting conditions. I think it's nature's way of keeping us from rushing things. However, it's not unlike me to have multi-colored snow in the backyard from overspray!

I agree with Steelwoolghandi, your face painting is really nice. That's always the toughest part of the Deals Wheels kits.

That paint is perfect for the buggy! Outstanding detail painting and x-tras. There's some great work here.

Thank gents... small update. decided to color the rims with tamiya clear green. i think it matches the body color nicely and paint the whitewalls used tamiya clear yellow and red on the chrome lights front and back no way the these pipes were staying on with the tiny little itty bitty post... so i drilled and pinned them
glad we have time left ..honestly figured it would be done by now... but i'm happy i'm taking my time with this kit... i really like these deals wheels kits...wish they would reissue the rest. i'd love to get my hands on them especially the stink ray.

The color coordination does stands out well!... especially with green and red... The face you worked on is awesome. Glitter.. gee yeah is hard to get it smooth after several coats. Looking forward to the completion of the project. Way to go!
